General Description
FMC card with dual, independent SDI inputs and dual loop-through outputs. Supports SD-SDI, ED-SDI, HD-SDI and 3G-SDI modes up to full HD1080p60 resolution. Does not require high-speed Gbit transceivers in the FPGA base-board as the SDI deserialization is built into the design. Features cable equalization and a simple LVDS interface with the FPGA logic. The card is compatible with all development boards that feature the standard FMC-LPC, FMC-HPC or FMC+ connector (ANSI/VITA 57.1). Examples include those from Xilinx®, Intel®, Avnet®, Digilent® and Microchip®.

– FMC card performs full clock recovery from the SDI signal
– Generates a clean recovered pixel clock for forwarding/video sync
– No need for embedded Gbit transceivers in the FPGA
– Support for SoCs like Zynq-7000 that don’t have embedded Gbit Rx/Tx
– 2 x M3 mounting holes for securing the FMC connector
– 2 x M3 mounting holes for supporting standoff ‘legs’
– Example RTL source-code provided for easy board bringup
– Compatible with a wide range of FMC base-boards
