CPC capacitors are tubular ceramic capacitors. A
ceramic tube is used as a dielectric, the plates are made of silver.
They have been widely used in oscillatory circuits of lamp equipment since the 40s
years to the beginning of the eighties. The color of the capacitor means
TKE (temperature coefficient of capacity change). Next to the container, as
a rule, a TKE group is prescribed, which has an alphabetic or numeric
designation. The most thermostable are
blue and gray capacitors.
This type of capacitors is very good for HF equipment.
